Those of you who own an iPhone 5s know how convenient it is to use its Touch ID. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could the feature to unlock other devices, let’s say your Mac? Developer Eric Castor is working on such a solution. The BioUnlock Tweak will let you unlock your Mac using your iPhone 5s Touch ID sensor. All you have to do is install the tweak, customize its settings, and start using your fingers to unlock your Mac and iPhone.
Keep in mind, you will have to install an app on your Mac to handle communications. The tweak uses WiFi at this time. According to iClarified, Windows support is planned. A pretty neat tweak if you ask me.
