In a perfect world, we all would get what we want when we want it. But Apple has its own schedule, which means you will have to wait a bit longer to get your hands on the iWatch. Apple’s WWDC event is coming up soon, but do not expect to see a new Apple TV device or iWatch. Multiple sources are reporting that the focus of the event will be on software. We could hear about OS X 10.10, which is expected to have a brand new design.
Since the focus of this event is on software, Apple could give us a preview of what Healthbook will be all about. Then again, that all but confirms Apple’s entry into the wearables market.
Apple has given hints about its iWatch plans with its acquisitions and job listings. We know the device is going to be a health tracker with many sensors. Apple recently bought LuxVue, which makes power efficient LED displays, a Micro-LED technology that could be used to make future Apple devices. It remains to be seen whether Apple will use this tech to build more than just smartwatches.
