Apple is not expected to announce the iWatch at the WWDC 14. At the same time, we are expected to hear more about iOS 8, OS X 10.10, and other products Apple has been working on. A recent leak from a now-deleted Reddit account seems to show a new OS X with a revamped Notification Center, Dock, and Spotlight search. It seems the new update will also bring an iOS-like Control Center to Mac desktops.
Needless to say, the Reddit account has already been removed. But they could very well be real. Rumors in the past few weeks have been pointing to Apple making some major changes to OS X. All should be revealed in just a few hours.
Speaking of the WWDC, Apple is expected to announce iOS 8 and the new Healthbook app. The app will be able to track calories, heart rate, sleep activity, steps taken, and more. The app will be able to pull data from third-party fitness hardware until Apple releases the iWatch. Apple is also expected to release its solution for home automation using iOS devices. We are not expected to see any of Apple’s “exciting” new devices at the event.
