Whether it’s remodeling your kitchen into a kitchen of future or letting you charge you electronics without having to deal with wires, Powermat does it all. Powermat is behind a lot of technologies that you can’t purchase just yet. But what you can do is pick up a Powermat Home or Mobile mat for your iPhone to keep your gadget charged (in addition to your Blackberry and PSP) without having to deal with lots of wires.
As you can see from the above video, working with Powermat is easy. You just have to drop your gadget on the mat and Powermat takes care of the rest. Once you do that, a RFID handshake happens and the mat provides your device with as much energy that it needs. So you won’t have to worry about damaging your device when using a Powermat. And just in case you don’t want to use the mat, you can use the USB slot available for legacy devices to charge your devices.
You can currently pick up these mats on Amazon and a few other retail stores. It’s highly in demand, so you may have to wait till you get yours. But if you are tired of dealing with wires and want to have a wireless center to charge your iPhone, Blackberry, PSP, and iPod Nano, Powermat comes in handy.
