But all signs point to Verizon and Apple bringing Verizon iPhone to the market some time after the event. Apple has already ordered millions of CDMA iPhone units. Verizon for its part seems to be purchasing iPhone related domains left and right.
PocketNow has found out that a company called Verizon Trademark Services, LLC has purchased iphoneforverizon.com and iphoneonverizon.com. Verizon may be planning to set up a mini portal for iPhone soon, though this could be just a move to help Verizon drive more direct traffic to its upcoming iPhone landing page.
Apple is already riding high considering all that it accomplished in 2010. The company has gotten a lot of love from the Wall Street, being valued 6 times the estimated worth of Facebook. Some are already speculating that Apple could soon become the most valued company, passing Exxon in a matter of a year.
With Verizon iPhone only a short while away and iPad 2 not further behind, Apple can reach new heights in 2011 if everything goes right. iOS is still holding a slight lead over Android too. Could 2011 be the year of Apple? Don’t bet against it.
