ClearPlex: Clear, Anti-crack iPad Screen Protector

I don’t know about you but I hate leaving fingerprints all over my iPad. Some people prefer using a stylus to use their tablet. That is not something that interests me. Unfortunately, many 5-star screen protectors are not too easy to apply. You either don’t get proper instructions to get started or end up having to deal with tons of air bubbles on your display. We recently had a chance to try ClearPlex for iPad. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to use. You get proper instructions and everything you need to get started.

Your package will include screen protectors plus an installation kit. The kit includes a spray bottle and a lint-free cloth. You also get a detailed set of instructions to apply your screen protector. Before getting started, make sure you clean your display and turn your tablet off. Apply the installation solution to the back of the screen protector and put that on your tablet. You are almost done. As a word of advice, put a hat on while doing this if you have lots of hair.

Once you have put the shield on your display, you need to grab a credit card, wrap it in the provided cloth, and use it to get rid of bubbles and moisture. The process took a few minutes but we were able to get most of the bubbles out. You may have to wait a bit for all the moisture and haze to disappear. We really did not have a whole lot of air bubbles to deal with, which was surprising considering our experience with other similar products.

ClearPlex is very clear and does not take away from your viewing experience. It is strong enough to keep your tablet protected from scratches.  I have to say, ClearPlex does feel a bit like glass.

Should you get ClearPlex? I am biased. The manufacturer was kind enough to provide us with a few. But considering how easy these were to apply, there is no question I would consider getting these for my iPad mini and iPad Air. In fact, I asked for those for our review but they are out of stock! The instructions were clear and the kit had everything we needed to apply the screen protector. All I had to do was clean the screen before applying the shield. These amazing screen protectors are available for under $28 on ClearPlex. Count our team impressed.
