There are plenty of educational robots that can introduce kids and adults to basic coding concepts. The Hiwonder JetHexa is made for more serious students. It is an app connected hexapod robot powered by a Jetson Nano. It comes with a depth camera and LiDAR for mapping and navigation.

This open source robot lets you experiment with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe/ Caffe2, and other frameworks. It features deep learning, human recognition, auto posture detection, 3D mapping, and auto obstacle avoidance. The JetHexa can also be used as a security robot. It has a built-in IMU sensor to detect posture in real-time and adjust its joints to keep its balance.
