Apple has finally made it official. We are going to hear about the next generation iPad in less than a week on October 22. As we have covered it here earlier, the company is expected to announce new Mac devices at the event. It is still not clear whether Apple will announce the iPad mini 2 with Retina display though.
The iPad 5 is going to have a faster processor, improved hardware, and a new slick design, borrowing some design elements from the iPad mini. Apple is expected to ship new MacBook Pros in October but the Mac Pro machines will ship in November.
Apple has been selling lots of iPhones in the past few weeks. It just happens that people are more interested in getting the iPhone 5s than the iPhone 5c. That really should not surprise anyone considering that the former is a much faster phone. Reuters is now reporting that Apple is cutting iPhone 5c orders. In the meantime, the company will focus on satisfying high demand for the iPhone 5s. Apple won’t be too disappointed considering that its devices are killing it in web traffic share and other metrics.
