We have covered a number of awesome activity trackers for iPhone and Android here in the past. Most of these activity trackers can guess how many calories you are burning but they are not perfect. Healbe GoBe is a different animal. This is a wearable device that automatically measures your calorie intake by reading the glucose in your cells. All you have to is wear it to get an idea how many calories you are consuming or burning. The device can also give you information on hydration, sleep, stress level, and heart rate.
GoBe measures your calorie intake through your skin. You don’t have to worry about doing anything manually. There is no need to scan barcodes or take photos of your meals. The device has a pressure sensor, impedance sensor, and an accelerometer to measure blood flow, fluid levels in tissue, and body movement/activity, respectively. The device looks quite decent, which helps. It has a digital display that gives you information about your body.
GoBe will be compatible with iPhone and Android devices. There will be a web portal available for users, so they can keep up with their data. This awesome project is on Indiegogo right now.
