Lucid dreaming is a type of dreaming in which you become aware that you are dreaming and can even gain some control over the environment or characters. There are a bunch of techniques that help you experience this type of dreaming. Lucid dreaming apps such as Lucidly can also help. This app collects readings as you sleep and uses AI to let you know when you have entered REM phase with haptic feedback through your smartwatch.
Lucidly integrates with Apple HealthKit. It has inference and hypnagogic modes that can run independently or in tandem. Lucidly has adjustable settings for session duration, delay, haptic feedback, and alerts. REM detection is done by pre-trained neural networks.
