The new iPhones are more powerful than ever. With USB-C support, you can now attach a whole host of devices to these phones, including SSDs. Here are 3 iPhone USB-C disk speed analyzers you can use for benchmarking:
OWC Drive Speed: this app verifies video data transfer rates and storage limits of devices attached to your phone. It supports SSDs, USB drives, and memory card readers.
REC Disk Speed Test: a USB-C disk speed analyzer for iPhone. It tells you whether your drive can handle your video settings (resolution or high frame rates).
Diskio: a drive speed tester for iOS that lets you test the speed of devices connected through USB-C and lightning. You can change file size, chunk size and location.
Bonus: Jazz Disk Bench Pro: this app performs sequential and random tests, so you can get a gauge for the performance of your storage.
