Keeping your Mac unlocked when you are going away is not smart. You certainly don’t want other people to gain access to your computer and sensitive files (whether it’s porn or sensitive company documents). Using passwords is one way to protect your computer. Sesame: a wireless lock for your Mac. Just attach it to your pocket and go about doing your business. When you are far enough, your Mac gets locked. When you come back, it gets unlocked. Couldn’t be any easier.
Knock App: lets you use your iPhone to unlock your Mac easier. Just knock on your phone twice to unlock your Mac computer.
You don’t necessarily need to use these products to lock/unlock your Mac machine. But they do make the job easier.
