Measuring blood pressure is a must for those who have experienced serious health issues in the past or want to stay healthy as long as possible. One does not have to be a genius or an experienced doctor to monitor his/her blood pressure. The better tools you pick up, the more convenient the process will be. We saw iHealth’s blood pressure dock for iPhone/iPad at CES 2011. It is an exciting dock that measures your blood pressure, stores your information, and keeps your iDevice charged and ready to go.
It has not taken the company too long to bring this product to the market. It does have its own companion iOS app too. The device tracks your “systolic and diastolic blood pressure” automatically and stores your information for future references. Apparently, users’ records do not take that much space.
iHealth Blood Pressure Dock allows users to put their data on a chart to get a better sense of where they stand as far as their health is concerned. The device will set you back $99, which is not that expensive for this type of product.
Overall, iHealth does seem like a solid BPM for personal health. An online storage and tracking system for health data would be nice though.
