iPhone 5S, iPad 5 News, Multi-iPad Table Debuts

🤖iPhone compatible STEM robots for kids

Apple released the iPhone 5 and iPad 4 just a few weeks ago. The company does not usually upgrade its products every couple of months. But it may be ready to break its product release cycle again to bring the iPhone 5S and iPad 5 to the market sooner than expected. According to Digitimes, Apple is expected to release these products in mid 2013:

Apple is expected to introduce its next-generation iPad and iPhone series around the middle of 2013, which will boost demand for ICs in particular communications related chips during the latter half of the first quarter, according to the observers. Component orders placed by Apple, which climbed to high levels prior to the iPhone 5 rollout, will rise again between March and April, the observers indicated.

The tablet PC and smartphone markets are changing all the time. Apple is dealing with more pressure these days to stay ahead of the pack. It already broke its regular product release schedule with the iPad 4. There is no question that Apple will do it again to keep the momentum going for its products. The iPad mini 2 with retina display is also widely expected to make its debut in a few months. It is not clear whether a major design upgrade is in the works for any of these gadgets.

Most of us own a couple of iPads at best. These are great tablets to play around with. As the above video shows, interactively linking multiple iPads in form of a table can be a lot of fun too. The iPad Table is a project by the Universal Mind agency. It has 15 iPads linked together to create a syncrhonized display. The iPad Table does look a bit similar to the Samsung SUR40. Interested in experimenting with this on your own? You could start linking multiple iOS devices with apps such as Mobile Multiple Display in the App Store. This is a pretty interesting idea, though not everyone affords buying 15 iPads to make one of these.
