Apple’s most anticipated smartphone upgrade is going to be unveiled on September 9. The device is going to have a faster processor, better hardware components in general, and a larger display. Now Re/code is reporting that Apple will hold an event on September 9 to unveil its latest phone. A couple of other top sources have confirmed the story. Apple is expected to offer iPhone 6 in two models: 4.7 inch and 5.5-inch. But it is not clear whether everything will be announced at this event.
Apple is also expected to announce the iWatch, iPad Air 2, and plenty of other fun products this year. Whether those will have their own event is anybody’s guess at this time (an October event for iwearables has long been rumored). Not to be outdone by Apple, Samsung has hinted that the Galaxy Note 4 will be unveiled on September 3 (see the “note the date” line). Let’s just say these next few months are going to be very exciting for tech fans.
