Festo’s bio-inspired robots are all over Reddit, YouTube, and other social networking sites. Have you ever wondered what it takes to build a bionic fish or an elephant’s trunk like the ones those guys have demonstrated in their videos? The Bionics4Education program aims to address that. The Bionics Kit comes with servo motors, electronic components, and everything students need to get started.
A free learning program will also be made available to young makers. There will be training videos, software, and CAD data for 3D printing. The kit will be aimed at 14 and 18 years old students.
