Meet the MiRo-E: a cute animal inspired robot designed to introduce kids to STEM concepts. It can react to your touch to purr, light up, and move its ears. The robot can also hear your voice and follow you. The MiRo-E has a Raspberry Pi core, 2 HD cameras, proximity sensor, multiple light and cliff sensors, and accelerometers.
MiRo-E comes ready to be programmed. It has WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB support. It has 28 capacitive touch sensors all over its body, 2 differential drive wheels, and RGB LEDs to show emotion. The MiRo simulator runs on the Gazebo robot simulator.
