Adopting a dog or cat may be a great idea, but many folks do not understand how much effort it takes to take care of these pets. Just like you, your pet needs to eat right and exercise to stay healthy. You wear a wearable device to track your activity? Why not use one on your pet? PetPace is a non-invasive smart collar that tracks your pet’s health and well-being by tracking its vitals and behavior.
PetPace offers real-time monitoring for your pet. It tracks temperature, pulse, respiration, activity, and calories. It is designed for dogs and cats. You can use the information PetPace gathers to figure out how well your pet is doing or share it with your vet. PetPace currently has an app on Google Play, but it seems an iOS solution is also in the works.
PetPace sets you back $150, but you will have to pay a subscription fee to get all its useful features every year.
