It lets you start a task in your terminal and keep up with it from your phone. Claude runs on your machine but you can interact with it when you are not as your desk. You will just have to use  claude rc command to get started.

When you start a remote session, Claude keeps running your machine locally without moving to the cloud. You can access your MCP servers, tools, and filesystems. You can send messages from your browser, terminal, and other devices. This is not an API service, so you will need a Max or Pro subscription.
