SOSCharger Self-Powered iPhone Charger, Apple iRadio By Summer?

iPhone devices may have a decent battery inside but can’t run for long periods of time without you having to charge them. That is not an issue when you have access to a power source all the time. The SOSCharger comes handy when you are camping or dealing with emergencies. This product charges your iPhone or USB powered devices using your own power.

The SOSCharger is a self-powered mobile phone charger. It has a 1500 mAh battery inside which you can charge by working the hand crank. 3 to 5 minutes of winding should give you up to 12 minutes of talk time. The product can serve as a standard USB charger. This exciting project has already been funded on Kickstarter. Hand-crack chargers like this could prove very useful during power outages and emergencies.

Speaking of the iPhone, Apple is reportedly getting ready to launch its own music streaming service. The service is expected to be called iRadio and will be positioned as a competitor to Pandora. As the Verge has reported, Spotify and Pandora both would like to catch a price break. This is something that has record companies worried.

Multiple industry sources have claimed that Apple is making a significant progress with Universal and Warner. Pandora is going to face a tougher road though. We will most likely have to wait till the end of this summer to find out what Apple is up to.
