0
Those of you who are ChatGPT Pro subscribers have already had a chance to play around with Codex. It is a cloud based software engineering agent that can work on tasks in parallel. It relies on codex-1, which is a specially trained version of o3. This model was trained using reinforcement learning on real-world coding tasks. Now you can access this on your iOS device. You can start new tasks, ask for changes, and push pull requests.
Codex is now available in the ChatGPT iOS app! Start new tasks, view diffs, ask for changes, and even push PRsβall on the go. And you can keep tabs on Codex with live activities on your lock screen, or pick things up again when you’re back at your computer. ππ€³ pic.twitter.com/5LltbROD4T

You can keep up with Codex on your lockscreen, which is convenient. Speaking of agents, Google has its own AI coding agent Jules which is in beta globally.
BREAKING π¨: Google is rolling out Jules in beta globally. It is a Codex competitor that can make PRs on its own. Comes with 5 free tasks a day. https://t.co/0NE5adiIx4 pic.twitter.com/cl9VcF9FdQ
