Resurge: Inductive Charger for Apple Magic Mouse

Nothing is more frustrating than needing your wireless mouse and finding out it is out of battery. You could always add a new pair of batteries to get it going but what if you don’t have them? Besides, it is inconvenient when you need to do something fast and need a mouse to do it. Resurge is a pretty neat idea that could save you the trouble. It wirelessly charges your mouse, so you it will be ready to go at all times.
The idea here is simple: you get the Apple Magic Mouse-exclusive rechargeable battery to put Resurge to work. Charging occurs when your mouse is not moving. Resurge has a LED charging indicator that shows you when it is charging. Since your mouse gets charged by induction, you don’t have to deal with a separate battery charger.
This is a pretty interesting invention by Brian Welch. It would be nice to be able to try Resurge to see how well it performs. For now, you can find out more about the project on Quirky.
