Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter Shipping, Mini Cinema for iPhone
0Not everyone is a fan of Apple’s new Lightning port. Many of us were used to the old connector and have accessories that are compatible with that. To be fair, Apple is releasing Lightning to 30-pin adapters. In fact, Apple has started sending shipment notifications to the first wave of customers who ordered those adapters. The company seems to be experiencing some shortage when it comes to these adapters. So if you ordered late, you may have to wait a bit.
Apple is offering two versions of this adapter. There is a plug adapter that connects your devices directly. You can also get the adapter that has a short cable attached to it. These will cost you $29 and $39 respectively. If you have older docks and accessories you need to connect to your iPhone 5, you are going to need one of these adapters.
Speaking of the iPhone, many of us use our smartphone to watch movies and video content at home and on the go. The iPhone’s screen is quite brilliant for that but a bit small. Thanks to the Mini Cinema for iPhone, you get to watch your video content on a larger screen. This is an amplifier and a magnifying surface for the iPhone.
The Mini Cinema is quite portable and improves the quality of sound coming out of your phone. If you don’t have an iPad or prefer watching things on your iPhone, picking up one of these may not be a bad idea. The Mini Cinema is compatible with the iPhone 4/4S at this point.
