Apple TV To Get Games, iPro: Mac Pro + iMac Hybrid
0Apple TV used to be a hobby for Apple. That is not really the case anymore. Apple has been selling millions of Apple TV units, and it could sell a ton more as long as it keeps improving the device. Introducing games and more third-party apps could certainly help. The Financial Times is now reporting that the new Apple TV will get games and apps.
Apple plans to introduce new Apple TV units with a significantly better set of hardware components. It will offer greater support for video games. More importantly, we could finally see Apple TV apps after all these years. Let’s not forget about the content deals Apple is allegedly working on. Considering that the company is offering a decent deal on Apple TV purchases to clear out current inventory, we could see the new model soon. No exact date has been given though.
According to Tim Cook, Apple is working on some very exciting products. I doubt they will look anything like the iPro by Kurt Merki Jr though. This is a hybrid device with a 35-inch display and integrated sound bar. Its split screens feature is perfect for videographers and artists.
The iPro has dual microphones, a HD camera, powerful speakers, USB 3.0 and a SD card reader. It is an all in one computer for the pros. We would love to see Apple experiment more with its computers, but this concept remains just that for now.
