Sky-Watcher AZ-GTe Smartphone Controlled Telescope Mount

Smart telescopes are nothing new. We have covered a few of them in the past that combine with your iPhone to give you a tour of the night sky. The Sky-Watcher AZ-GTe Alt-Azimuth telescope mount is also worth a look. It is WiFi controlled with the SynScan Pro app for iOS and Android.

This smart telescope mount has a database of 42900+ objects for you to explore. To align it, simply point your phone to the area of the sky you want to explore. With the press of a button, your telescope will follow. DC servo motors are used to move the mount on both axes with minimal vibration. A SNAP port is available for remote shutter release cables for astrophotography.
