Loona: Affectionate Programmable Robotic Pet with App Control

In the past few years, we have seen plenty of cute robotics pets that can keep kids and seniors company. The Loona is also worth a look. It is an emotive robotic pet that roams your home, observes, and interacts with humans. It features body detection, face/object/gesture recognition, edge detection, and trajectory planning. It is smart enough to hear and respond to voice commands.

This robot has a 3D ToF camera to detect obstacles. It has 6 motors with wheels that move thanks to 2 brushless servomotors. Loona expresses itself with its legs, ears, and eyes. It is powered by a quad-core Cortex A53 processor with Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi connectivity. It has a graphical programming interface.
