Taking good care of your garden is necessary if you want to actually grow things successfully. It takes some effort to pull it off. But solutions such as the Edyn can help you get it done in a smarter fashion. The Edyn is a smart garden system that monitors and tracks environmental conditions to keep your plants growing. The system has three parts: the Garden Sensor, the Edyn Water Valve, and an app.

More like this ➡️ here

The Edyn Garden Sensor collects data about light, humidity, temperature, soil nutrition and moisture and cross-references the data with plant, soil, science, and weather databases to give you recommendations. The system alerts you when conditions change. The Edyn Water Valve automatically controls your existing water system based on the data. Both the sensor and water valve are solar powered.  This project is on Kickstarter.

iro

Speaking of smart gadgets for gardening, the Iro happens to be a smart sprinkler compatible with iOS and Android devices. It waters your plants even when you are too busy to check on them. The Iro adjusts for changes in weather and seasonality to provide just enough water for your plants. This device learns and performs better the more you use it. Just remove your existing sprinkler controller and replace it with Iro. It will connect to Rachio platform through your home WiFi network. You will be able to control it from your smartphone, tablet, and laptop. The Iro offers auto scheduling, weather intelligence, smart cycles, and analytics. Sets you back $249.
