How to Repair a Wet Phone [Infographic]
0Have you ever dropped your phone in a wet area by accident? If your phone is not waterproof, chances are you won’t be able to get it to turn on. Using a vacuum desiccation chamber is one way to remove moisture from your phone without damaging what’s inside, unlike a hair dryer and other uncontrolled methods.

There is no need to rush in this situation other than drying the main components of your phone. You should also remove the battery cable and remove your SIM / SD cards. A controlled evaporation environment with low humidity and moderate temperature is the way to go. After 4 hours, you can reassemble to perform boot and see if any issue remains. You may not be able to save every phone that gets wet but this approach can improve your chances.
