Levitating lamps are nothing new. In fact, the latest models are getting additional features such as wireless charging. Take Megi for instance: it is a floating lamp powered through air. It has 3 adjustable brightness levels that you can change with voice commands or single touch on the base.
Megi can also charge your phone wirelessly (15W). You can charge your larger devices through a wired connection. Megi has an anti-fall mechanism in case power is cut off accidentally. This product is currently getting funded on Kickstarter.
