Having a way to charge your iPhone or iPad during emergencies is important. You could always use a solar charger to get the job done. Trinity takes a different approach. It is a portable wind turbine power station capable of charging any USB device. It folds into a 12″ cylinder, so it is easy to store or carry around. Trinity has a 15W generator and a 15,000 mAh built in battery. It looks pretty easy to operate too.
Trinity has a USB plug and a mini USB plug, so you can charge your gadgets and plug your device in a wall socket. This sounds like an interesting emergency charger for smartphones. We still prefer solar chargers to solutions like this though. You can support Trinity on Kickstarter.
