We have covered many excited augmented reality applications here in the past. Folks are using them to find their way around, learn new subjects, and get things done faster. Elements 4D Interactive Blocks happen to help their owners learn a bit about chemistry. We are talking about a set of 6 wooden blocks that come to life when you use DAQRI’s 4D app.
Each block has a different chemical symbol. Using the augmented reality app available for these, you will learn more about the elements and get to interact with them. Put two blocks together to see how they react. Considering that chemistry was never my favorite topic, these blocks could have surely helped a couple of decades ago.
Augmented reality can potentially revolutionize how we teach science in schools. Projects such as this show what the technology is capable of delivering. This exciting project is currently being funded on Kickstarter.
