It is no secret that Apple had to delay the release of iTunes 11 to fix some of the issue with the app. The long wait for iTunes 11 could be over as early as today. According to CNET, the new iTunes could potentially make its debut on Nov 29. After all, that is what Apple had to say about the software in October:
We look forward to releasing this new version of iTunes with its dramatically simpler and cleaner interface, and seamless integration with iCloud before the end of November,
iTunes 11 was expected to be released in October. But Apple has had to delay the release due to some issues with it. After all the bad publicity that Apple has gotten over iPhone maps, it can’t afford to release a new iTunes that is not ready for prime time. Apple could always delay the software yet again. We have seen some alleged screenshots of iTunes 11 recently. Will Apple offer iTunes 11 in the next two days? We will have to wait and see.
Speaking of new products, we have seen a bunch of companies offer their own Lightning cables and accessories in the past few weeks. The Nomad Lightning Cable for iPhone 5 & iPad mini is quite interesting as it is so compact, one can carry it attached to a key ring. This is an Apple certified cable that is 3 inches long. It is perfect for folks who spend a lot of time traveling and need to have a Lightning cable with them everywhere they go.
This exciting project is currently being funded through Kickstarter. The idea is simple but it can be a lifesaver.
