Yarbo M: Modular Robotic Mower, Trimmer, Collector, Plow
0
As the weather gets warmer, mowing the lawn becomes necessary again. The good news is robots are getting pretty good at this. Older models used to be good at only cutting grass but newer models can collect leaves, trim, and even remove snow. Take the Yarbo M for instance: it is a robotic mower with a modular design that can mow 1.5 acres per day. It uses 2×300 cutting motors to get the job done.
This robot uses LiDAR navigation and multi-sensor fusion to perceive its surroundings, map your yard and get around obstacles. Thanks to this approach, it can operate under trees. It has heavy duty tracks that enable it to operate on uneven terrains. The Yarbo M robot can be set up without a wire. It has a 20Ah battery and offers 630W fast wireless charging. What’s neat is you can use this when it snows to clear your place without breaking a sweat. This project is getting funded on Kickstarter.
