LiveScan for iOS Detects Text In Images

Here is a new text detection app that lets you easily capture text from images on your phone. LiveScan by Gentlemen Coders is ideal for signs, business cards, or anything similar. It can process text in 8 languages (on MacOS). This app can grab text from the camera or any image in your photo library. It comes integrated with Yelp for location-based searches. LiveScan also also detect phone numbers.

Thanks to this app, you can look up addresses, visit websites, call phone numbers, search products, and perform translations on your phone. You can also have the text spoken to you aloud. Images can be shared to Live Scan with its Detect Text Share extension.
