As Google has announced, they will be compatible with iOS devices going forward. Android Wear for iOS lets you pair your iPhone 5 or later with an Android Wear watch to get info, get fit, and receive recommendations from Google based on your schedule.

Android Wear for iOS will work with the LG Watch Urbane and all future Android Wear watches. Considering that the second generation Moto 360 watch will be announced on September 8, things are going to heat up in the smartwatch market.
