Connected Cycle Prevents Bike Theft [App-Enabled]

Losing a bike is never fun. But it could happen to you if you are not careful. The Connected Cycle Pedal happens to be a connected device that notifies you when your bike is moved. You will also be able to track its location at any time. For instance, you will be able to see when you last parked your ride. The pedal also records the speed, route, incline, calories burned, and more. The data is stored in the cloud for your convenience.

The pedal generates its own energy, so you don’t need to charge a battery. No mechanical skills are required to put this smart pedal to use. Only the bike owner with a special coded key can remove the pedal though. The Connected Cycle will be at CES 2015.
