Droid 2: An iPhone Copycat?

May phone manufacturers have tried and failed at properly challenging the iPhone. We have seen many so-called iPhone-killers promise and not deliver the goods in the end. Droid is one of those phones that did have a better time going head to head against the iPhone. It did not kill or outsell iPhone. Nevertheless, it was one of the most powerful Android phones of its time. Droid 2 is expected to be the latest addition to the Droid family. Apple has set the bar very high with iPhone 4. Android handset makers are responding.

💡Make your home smart with these Alexa enabled connected devices

iPhone 4 takes advantage of a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. Interestingly enough, that’s exactly what Droid 2 has to offer in addition to a 3.7 inch screen and a 5 MP camera. Of course, the iPhone does not have a real keyboard (which is not a loss at this point).

We still do not have all the details about Droid X . The specifications could differ from what the rumors suggest. With that said, it is going to take a lot for Droid to beat iPhone in its game. The big positive for Droid X is the network it is carried on. Until Apple brings iPhone 4 to Verizon, we can’t truly compare its performance against top Android phones such as Droid.

Your take: does Droid 2 have a shot against iPhone 4?

Couldn't you put a droid on AT&T's network for comparison? The network locks on the ones sold can be broken
