We have heard a ton of rumors about the new iPhone in the past few months. Unless all of them are incorrect, the product will have a larger display with a smaller docking port. Pictures of the new iPhone’s body have already been leaked by multiple sources. As iLounge has reported, the folks at Veister, an accessories maker for iPhone, have now posted a picture of the new iPhone cable which is quite small.

The cable is considerably smaller than the one we currently use for our iOS devices. The new iPhone won’t be compatible with your old docks. Apple is expected to release an adapter to make using old docks with newer iOS devices possible. It will be interesting to see how accurate some of the rumors we have already heard are in a few weeks. Apple has been quite awful in keeping its secrets this time around. Then again, all these leaks have generated a lot of buzz around the upcoming iPhone.

If you plan to pick up a new iPhone, you should also get a case for it. There are many standard cases available on the market. Polychemy is an interesting service that utilizes 3D printing to give you options when it comes to creating your custom cases. The Singapore-based company has a special 3D printer that allows any design to be printed. Its cases are made from Polyamide plastic and have customizable options (color and pattern). Polychemy cases for iPhone are currently available for $40.
