Apple is going to have a very busy finish to this year. It is expected to release the iPad 5, iPad mini 2, iPhone 5S, and iPhone 5C in the next few months. That’s not counting the beautiful new Mac Pro and other products that Apple might release. We have heard a lot of rumors about the iPad mini 2. Some have suggested that it won’t have a Retina display (though WSJ has reported otherwise). A new leaked photo seems to show the rear panel for the upcoming iPad mini 2. Not surprisingly, it does not seem Apple is planning to change the design of its mini tablets this time.
The iPad mini 2 is rumored to have a faster processor, better display, and better hardware components in comparison to its predecessor. The leaked rear panel does suggest that it will have a new logo. The panel was obtained by FanaticFone and could be from a prototype.
Apple is going to release a budget iPhone this year. We have already seen photos that show the iPhone 5C’s plastic shell. The device may be cheaper but will still be a capable phone. Chinese site IT68 is now reporting that the cheaper iPhone will have a 8MP camera (has published a photo of the camera module). Let’s not forget that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5S is rumored to have a 12 MP camera. We could see both devices in early September.
