The iPhone is more than your average portable camera. It is true that you can take quality photos with it. But there are accessories available for it that let you get even more out of it. The Magnifi Case is an exciting adapter that connects the phone to optical instruments such as bionculars, microscopes, and telescopes. All you have to do is slip your phone into Magnifi and drop it over the eyepiece. This aligns the camera on your iPhone to the eyepiece using the companion app.

Check out these uniquely awesome ✔️ iPhone gadgets & gizmos

Magnifi does not require any extra lenses to keep clean. It has a two piece design. Its case and eyepiece adapter are connected with a bayonet mount. What’s nice is you can remove the mount to use the case for everyday tasks. The case is made from impact-resistant Polycarbonate plastic. While billed as a universal photoadapter case, Magnifi does have some limitations. It was designed to work with eyepieces that are 1in – 1.5in in diameter. Large eye seals will have to be removed too.

The Magnifi case is currently being funded on Kickstarter. It does not damage your phone in any way and lets you use your iPhone in all kinds of situations.

Are you impressed?
