White iPhone Now Available!

The wait for white iPhone is finally over. Apple store has been updated to include white iPhone models in addition to the black iPhones we have come to love. You can now order white iPhones and receive them in 3 to 5 business days. Physical stores are expected to have white iPhones available for sale starting today as well.

It is hard to believe that so many folks are excited about white iPhones considering that we are not talking about an upgraded phone. But Brian White, an analyst at Ticonderoga, suggest that Apple could sell a ton of white iPhones in the upcoming weeks:

In our view, this delay has created a certain mystique and scarcity value around the white iPhone 4 that we believe could drive incremental iPhone 4 purchases in the range of 1 million to 1.5 million units per quarter until the iPhone 5 potentially comes to market in September.

The facts remain that if you are in need of an iPhone and can wait till September, you are better of waiting to get your hands on iPhone 5 (which will have a faster processor, slimmer design, and much more). There is no reason to be too excited about Apple delivering something it probably should have done months ago.
