PlayShifu’s Tacto Chess: Interactive Chess Game for iPad

In the past few years, we have covered a whole host of chess apps and smart chessboards that can give beginners to  grandmasters a good game. PlayShifu’s Tacto Chess takes a different approach: it is a story-based chess game that combines with an iPad or Android tablet to teach users how to play the game without overwhelming them.

Tacto has story based animated themes to teach chess. It comes with tactile pieces to play the game on your tablet’s screen. The companion app lets you play against an AI or a friend. You can also play 4×4 mini puzzles before graduating to the full board.
