03Amazon Jumps On the iPhone Board
0 comments

Amazon.com may be still interested in getting the iPhone listed on their store. AT&T and Apple are still not close to doing that. But that hasn’t kept Amazon from jumping on board and creating an iPhone application for folks to shop more effectively on their iPhones.
Amazon understands that the mobile market is growing rapidly, and in order to stay relevant Amazon will have to move quickly to take leadership position in mobile retail. This is a move to the right direction for Amazon, but one wonders what this move means to the Amazon Kindle. Will Amazon come up with its own “iPhonic” mobile device (with the SDK and all the good stuff) by upgrading the Kindle?
