Evasi0n In iOS 6.1.1 Not Patched, iPad Bathroom Stand

Apple has been quite aggressive in making jailbreak solutions useless with software patches in the past. Considering that many iOS device owners are already taking advantage of Evasi0n, it is surprising to see that Apple has not patched it up with iOS 6.1.1. The software was released just a short while ago to fix cellular connectivity bugs and battery life issues in iPhone 4S devices running iOS 6.1.

The Evasi0n jailbreak happens to work fine on devices upgraded to iOS 6.1.1 (as mentioned by planetbeing). That does not mean Apple won’t address the issue with its next software update. The company has already warned jailbreakers of security risks of hacking their phones. In the meantime, an update for the Evasion jailbreak is in the works so it can recognize the 6.1.1 update for iPhone 4S users. How far will this jailbreak last? We will have to wait and see.
