We are almost there. Sure, Apple has made us wait longer than expected for new products. But we should hear more about the new iPhones and iPads in the next few weeks. It is no secret that Apple is not completely redesigning the iPhone 5S. But the device is expected to have improved hardware components, including a faster CPU. How fast? Clayton Morris is claiming that the new iPhone has an A7 processor that is 31% faster than iPhone 5’s A6 processor.
We don’t know a whole lot about the A7 processor at this point. But it seems it will be a 64-bit processor designed to handle iOS 7 and next generation apps. The iPhone 5S will also have an improved camera with better motion tracking and a fingerprint scanner. We should hear about the device in the next couple of weeks.
Apple is going to release the new iPad mini to the market soon. The iPad mini 2 could have a Retina display if everything goes according to the plan for Apple. Sony Dickson is at it again, this time showing images of iPad mini 2’s rear panel. Not surprisingly, the design has not changed a lot. The iPad mini 2 is expected to have a faster processor, upgraded display, and other small upgrades. Most experts believe the device will ship in October.
