Axe

Not every iPhone owner is ready to take her chance with the jailbreaking process. A lot of people would rather go with what’s offered by Apple and do not want to mess with their iPhone. A few brave souls do care about their overall experience with their iPhone, which is why they are more than ready to keep themselves up to date with the latest iPhone hacks. iPhone 3.1 is expected to break a lot of these small little hacks that are out there. You still have the ability to jailbreak your iPhone (read the instructions), but a few important hacks have stopped working.

💡Make your home smart with these Alexa enabled connected devices

If you remember, a while ago, an iPhone hack was introduced that made it easy to tether on iPhone. at&t and Apple do not approve such hacks, but it’s been around for a while, and a good number of people have used it in the past. Unfortunately, that hack seems to have stopped working. There are of course other ways to get around this issue, but the main question still remains. Will at&t charge you a hefty fine or fee for tethering with its permission?

at&t has yet to indicate which way its leaning to. On the one hand, we hear stories about how at&t will finally activate tethering on iPhone soon. On the other hand, at&t and Apple complain about people who use hacks on their phones and blame them for network issues. At this point, there is no reason not to try these hacks on your phone. But knowing the risks beforehand does help.

Your take: have you tethered on your iPhone (v. 3.1)? Share your experiences below.
