According to the same report, Apple could be working with Timex and other giants in this business to push Healthkit, iOS, and its ecosystem. These smartwatches will still require users to have a smartphone for content. Apple could still release its own iWatch alongside smartwatches from Swatch, Timex, and its other partners. Speaking of new Apple products, the company may be ready to release a mobile wallet alongside the iPhone 6. According to The Information, Apple is discussing the project with various banking institutions. The system will store a user’s financial info safely on an iPhone.
