More iOS 8 Features, Is Your Old Device Getting iOS 8?

Yesterday was quite an exciting event for Apple fans. The company is finally getting serious about health tracking wearables and home automation. HealthKit and HomeKit are exciting, but they are not the only features Apple announced. In fact, many other smaller upgrades did not make it to the presentation:

- Touch ID to exit Guided Access
- Speak screen support
- Camera Timer
As BGR has noted, you can see even more features in the above image. iOS 8 will be released this fall to everyone.
iOS 8 is great, but not everyone is going to get it. If your device is too old, you are out of luck. Here are the devices that will get iOS 8:
- iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5s
- iPod Touch 5th Generation
- iPad 2, iPad 3/4, iPad Air, iPad Mini, and iPad 2
As you can see, the iPhone 4 is off the list. That’s Apple’s way of saying that it is time to upgrade for those folks.
