Google Wallet for iOS Update, iOS 7.1 Beta Closes Jailbreak Holes
0Google just recently updated Google Wallet for Android. Not surprisingly, it is now time for Google Wallet for iOS to get an upgrade. The update now sends you notifications when you are near a merchant with a saved loyalty program. You can add your loyalty programs faster by scanning your card. The app will auto-populate your information.
If you don’t like the app to offer you nearby offers, you can always turn that feature off. This version offers some performance improvements too. Google Wallet works on devices running iOS 6.0+.
Speaking of updates, iOS 7.1 is going to be here soon. If you have jailbroken your device, there is some bad news: Apple is going to make it even harder for you to keep your settings. As reported on multiple sites, Apple is trying its hardest to close exploits used to jailbreak iOS 7. With the release of iOS 7 beta 5, a number of exploits that could have used for future jailbreaks are closed. The good news is all systems have holes. So we don’t expect the jailbreak community to give up that easily.
