The iPhone 5s is the best phone Apple has ever made. It is not flawless and could always be improved in many areas. There is no question that the iPhone 6 is going to be very popular. But we will have to wait a few months to hear about it from Apple. South Korean securities firm KDB Daewoo Securities Research has already sent out information on the phone to its customers anyway. The leak suggests that Apple will have iPhones in 4.8″ and 5.5″ sizes.
The 5.5″ iPhone 6 is listed as having a 1280 * 2272-pixel resolution IGZO display. Apparently, it will have an A8 processor and 2 GB of RAM. 3.2 MP and 8 MP cameras will also be included. We can’t confirm any of this and plans could always change. It’s not a completely crazy rumor though.
Speaking of the iPhone, Facebook has a brand new app for iOS users. Paper has already gotten a lot of attention in the media. Lots of folks seem to be happy about it. The folks at Fifty Three are not a fan of Facebook using that name for its new app though.
We were really surprised when we heard that Facebook was releasing an app called Paper … We have, in writing, asked Facebook to refrain from using the name,
said Georg Petschnigg, co-founder and chief executive of FiftyThree, in a phone interview to the NY Times. Considering that Facebook has been sensitive about other companies using words like “book” in their products, this is quite a strange episode. Will Facebook change the name of its hot new app? That remain to be seen.
